What We Provide in our EMI/EMC Testing Services?

EMI/EMC testing services - immunity testing

Electromagnetic immunity testing services is provided to ensure your smart meters and power infrastructure resist severe external electrical disturbances without data loss or performance degradation. Our laboratory subjects equipment to electrostatic discharges (ESD), high-voltage surges, and fast transients to guarantee absolute signal integrity and unbroken operational resilience on the grid.

Our Immunity Services are:

  • ESD Testing
  • EFT Testing
  •  Surge Immunity Testing

Our lab offers accredited electromagnetic emission testing services to verify that your smart meters and industrial power electronics do not radiate harmful electromagnetic noise into the surrounding grid. Our advanced laboratory measures both radiated and conducted emissions to guarantee absolute product compliance and prevent your devices from interfering with nearby critical communication networks.

Services Include:

  • Conducted Emission Testing
  • EMC Pre-Compliance Testing

FAQs

EMI/EMC testing services are mandatory to prove that these devices can withstand external electrical chaos (immunity) and won't emit harmful noise that disrupts the local grid or wireless networks (emissions). Without this testing, equipment cannot get utility board approval or achieve regulatory compliance.

Think of EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) as the unwanted electronic "noise" your device leaks out into the world, which can disrupt nearby equipment. EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) is your device's ability to "play nice" in its environment, meaning it doesn't produce harmful noise from other devices without failing.

Emissions Testing: We measure the electrical noise your product sends out through the air (radiated) or back through its power cords (conducted) to make sure it is below strict safety limits. Immunity Testing: We deliberately hit your product with simulated grid spikes, electrostatic shocks (ESD) and radio waves to prove it won't crash or lose data in the field.

You will need to provide at least one fully operational product sample (two is ideal), all connecting cables and an auxiliary support software or equipment required to keep the device running continuously during the test loops.
