Mechanical Testing Laboratory

At EL ENERGY, we are proud to feature an advanced Mechanical Testing Laboratory that meticulously
evaluates products in strict accordance with a comprehensive array of national and international standards.
Our facility boasts cutting-edge instrumentation and is staffed by expert engineers and technicians
committed to upholding the utmost levels of precision, dependability, and adherence to mechanical testing
protocols.

Dry Heat Test, Cold Test, Damp Heat Test

An Environmental Chamber, or Climatic Chamber, controls temperature and humidity to test products for suitability, reliability, and durability under environmental conditions like temperature, humidity, and light. It accelerates natural environmental effects through tests such as Dry Heat, Cold, Damp Heat, and Ambient Temperature testing.

Vibration Test

The Vibration Test system includes a Drive Coil (Armature) placed in a DC magnetic field and excited by an AC signal from a Digital Power Amplifier. This setup generates a force that moves the drive coil according to signal magnitude and frequency. This vibration force is applied to objects or specimens mounted on the Shaker platform. The system utilizes a modern Rolling Strut-type armature suspension system, minimizing transverse motion. It meets various standard test requirements.

Shock Test

The machine, constructed from robust mild steel, ensures mechanical strength. It uses compressed air to generate shock pulses: half-sine pulses with elastomer pads, saw tooth pulses with lead pellets, and square pulses with pneumatic cylinders. Pneumatic cylinders lift the platform to control drop height and achieve desired acceleration. Fail-safe brakes prevent secondary shocks, with heavy-duty shock absorbers isolating the machine from ground vibrations. A PC-based instrumentation system controls, monitors, and analyzes shock waveforms across up to 16 channels.

Spring Hammer Test

To exert a force and impact energy +/- 0.20 Nm, spring compression 13 mm

Glow Wire Test

An automated glow wire test apparatus assesses flame and ignition resistance by pressing the test specimen against a 15mm-long glow wire tip held at 960oC for specified durations. This setup includes precise heating, temperature measurement, and control devices, alongside timers and interval counters for accurate testing.
